This is how we celebrated 10 years of Netflix with a poster paste-up in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Málaga

When a platform has spent ten years telling stories, it is not enough to celebrate it only in digital. You have to take to the street, get your hands dirty and paste posters. That is why, for the 10th anniversary of Netflix España, we organized a poster paste-up in several cities. The goal: for passers-by to come across a story on every corner. And we did it in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Málaga.

This type of street marketing has a clear advantage: it cannot be ignored. A well-placed poster on a wall speaks to you. There is no algorithm that can avoid it. That is why, for a brand that lives on stories, the street is the best showcase.

Ten years of stories that are enough for Netflix

The campaign slogan said it all: every story deserves to be told. And to tell them, nothing better than occupying public space. In this action, the posters became small visual doors distributed throughout the street furniture. The image we captured shows a street-level wall with several clearly visible posters, right where people pass every day.

The cities chosen were:

  • Madrid
  • Barcelona
  • Valencia
  • Málaga

Four key points where the brand made its presence felt with a poster paste-up that did not go unnoticed.

How a professional poster paste-up is done

A poster paste-up is not simply papering a wall. Behind it there is a process: choosing the right supports, preparing the surface, using the correct type of glue and placing each poster so that it withstands the passing of the days. In this campaign, the team organized itself to cover several points in each city without losing the pace. The result can be seen in the photo: a wall that draws attention and is part of the urban landscape.

Furthermore, poster paste-up allows you to reach areas where other formats cannot enter. A wall on a busy street is worth more than a thousand banners. And that is the charm of wild posting: it does not look like advertising, it looks like part of the city. Until you stop to read, of course.

Why wild posting still works

Wild posting has something that digital advertising cannot copy: surprise. When you come across a well-pasted poster on a wall, you cannot scroll to skip it. It is there, at your height, and it forces you to look at it. For a brand like Netflix, which lives on stories, this format is perfect. Because each poster is a door to a story, and every story deserves to be told.

At a time when everything happens on screens, taking to the street is an almost revolutionary act. And when you do it well, people appreciate it. That is the intention of this campaign: that each poster invites you to stop for a second. Because every story deserves to be told.

If you have a brand, an event or a story to tell, the street is still an enormous canvas. And we know how to fill it.
